Pastor: Cathy Hamrick

Pastor Cathy came to Trinity in October, 2005 after serving in Pryor, OK. She is a native Texan and received a Bachelor of Music degree from Texas Wesleyan University in Ft. Worth, TX. Cathy taught public school music for 15 years, while serving as Choir Director for her home church. She also served as a Christian Educator for eight years. Cathy attended Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, OK where she attained her Master of Divinity. Cathy and her husband Don have two daughters, Lindsey and Brook.

Music Director: Laura Cowan

Laura joined the Trinity family in May, 2008. Laura received both her Bachelors Degree in Music Education and Masters Degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from Oklahoma State University. Prior to serving at Trinity, she taught vocal music, piano, and music theory at Union Public Schools at the junior high and high school levels for eight years. She currently teaches private voice and piano lessons at Brook Fine Arts Academy and maintains a small studio in her home. When she is not doing something musical, she enjoys spending time with her husband Chris and two-year-old daughter, Hannah. Laura is looking forward to serving Christ with the Trinity family.

Child Care

Trinity Presbyterian provides a qualified child care person to care for children during Sunday School, church service, and scheduled meeting nights for pre- school children. To inquire, call the church office.

Stewartship

Here at Trinity Presbyterian Church we have discontinued obtaining pledges from the congregation each year to support the church operations, debt retirement and benevolence work. In lieu of pledging, the congregation adopted what is called "The Manna Principle". This is a principle of faith that simply stated says that we trust that God will provide for all we need and will use responsibility in our personal lives as well as the corporate life of the congregation. (Mathew 6:19-34) We simply ask each member of the congregation to make a commitment to God to support the work of the church.

Committee Meetings

All the committees meet at the church on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM following a meal that is served at 5:30 to all committee members. Child care provided for pre- school children.
